I create textile works to hold the fleeting moments of raw beauty and deeply human emotion that might otherwise be forgotten.
Working with natural fibres, found materials, embroidery and poetry, I gather traces of place, memory and experience into tactile works that invite stillness and reflection. My South African upbringing and life in the Netherlands continue to shape the way I see the world, revealing how landscapes, materials and stories become intertwined. Through slow, intuitive making, I explore the quiet space between what is remembered and what is lost, where materials can carry stories that words cannot.
