Obsessions – Books

The ladies 

During research for an artist book consisting of imagery that inspired me I realized that I have an obsession with the female nude. Using my personal collection of nude photographs I created this book.

In each of the photographs I cut out a circle that represents the natural form, just as the soft lines of the female deity. These circles reveal a section of the next image. Thus resulting in a new and sometimes confusing or confronting image of the female nude.

Each page shows how one body can influence the next.

Openings

This is a book about spaces and circles.

Circles which are endless and joined with the notion of life.
As in the circle of life , this book shows an endless connection from one image to another.
Each image transforming and leaking to the next, becoming a new whole.
